Annapurna Interactive's First In-House Game: Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth
Annapurna Interactive has announced its first internally-developed game, Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, set in a dystopian Los Angeles after the Blackout. Directed by Chelsea Hash, the game will take place between the original Blade Runner movie and its sequel. Annapurna Interactive, known for publishing indie titles, established its own internal studio in 2020 and revealed Hash as the game director in 2022. The last Blade Runner game, released in 1997, received an Enhanced Edition in 2022 but faced criticism for its graphics.
