NYC woman gets 21-year sentence for attempted cheesecake poisoning of lookalike friend.
Viktoria Nasyrova, a Brooklyn woman, has been sentenced to 21 years in prison for attempting to kill her lookalike friend, Olga Svyk, with a poisoned cheesecake in 2016. Nasyrova hoped to steal Svyk's identity, passport, and other documents and return to Russia. Svyk survived after eating the cake and vomiting and hallucinating. Nasyrova was found guilty of attempted murder in February.
