"WREG Comes to the Aid of Cheddar's Employee Attacked on the Job"
A teenage restaurant host at Cheddar's in Cordova, Tennessee, was brutally attacked by angry customers who had to wait for a table. After seeing the news, Keith Leachman, the founder of "Stop the Killing, Cut the Beef," decided to help the young victim. He visited the teenager's house and gave him $1,000 to help with school expenses and senior class fees. The gesture not only supports the victim but also provides encouragement to his mother, who is on maternity leave. Four family members have been arrested and charged in connection with the assault.
