BMW is introducing a manual gearbox option for the 2025 Z4 M40i, available worldwide from March 2024, with a $3,500 "Handschalter" package that includes unique chassis tuning, staggered wheels, and exclusive colors. The six-speed manual transmission will be slower than the automatic, but offers a mechanical feel tailored to the Z4, and will only be available for the six-cylinder M40i model.
