"DUI-Related Single-Vehicle Crash Leads to Road Closure and Power Outage"
A single-vehicle collision caused by a driver under the influence led to a power outage and the closure of Morrison Drive in both directions in downtown Charleston. The incident occurred early Sunday morning and resulted in the driver's arrest for DUI. Traffic will remain closed until Dominion Energy can repair the damage caused by the vehicle hitting a utility pole.
