"Massive Tunnel Collapse in Uttarakhand Traps Dozens of Workers"
A portion of an under-construction tunnel of the Char Dham all-weather highway project in Uttarakhand collapsed, trapping around 40 laborers inside. Rescue operations involving over 150 personnel from various agencies are underway to reach the trapped individuals. No casualties have been reported so far, and efforts are being made to provide oxygen and food to the trapped laborers. The tunnel, when completed, will shorten the distance between Uttarkashi and Yamunotri by 26km.
