Steelers' Cornerback Shuffle: Maulet Released, Khan Names Slot Options, Salary Cap Updated.
Pittsburgh Steelers' GM Omar Khan mentioned Chandon Sullivan and Duke Dawson as potential options to fill the void left by Arthur Maulet's release at slot corner. Sullivan has plenty of slot experience, while Dawson is a former 2nd round pick with slot experience and pedigree. Khan believes the competition will dictate who gets first crack at the spot, and he's confident they'll have the right guys in place before Week One kicks off. The Steelers' top three cornerbacks - Patrick Peterson, Levi Wallace, and Joey Porter Jr. - will also need to be sorted out.
