"Fiddler on the Roof" Star Topol's Secret Life as a Mossad Agent Revealed by Family
The family of Israeli actor Chaim Topol, best known for his role in "Fiddler on the Roof," claim that he worked with Mossad, the country's intelligence agency, on secret missions. Topol's wife and children revealed that he often traveled abroad with a miniature camera and tape recorder, and had connections with a well-known member of Mossad. Other individuals outside the family also claimed that Topol used his international reputation to make connections in countries where Israelis weren't necessarily welcome. Topol passed away in March at the age of 87.
