Red Lobster Revives Classics and Revamps Menu Post-Bankruptcy
Red Lobster is reintroducing hush puppies to its menu as part of a broader strategy to revitalize the chain after emerging from bankruptcy. Under new CEO Damola Adamolekun, the menu has been reduced by 20% but includes nine new items, such as bacon-wrapped scallops and lobster bisque. The changes aim to attract both its traditional Baby Boomer customer base and a younger demographic, with updates to restaurant ambiance and menu offerings. The chain is now under the ownership of Fortress Investment Group, which has invested $60 million for its revival.
