
Arrests Made in German Museum's Celtic Gold Coin Heist
Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the theft of 483 Celtic gold coins from the Celtic-Roman Museum in Manching, Bavaria. The arrests were made during a police operation in the Schwerin area of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The stolen gold coins, considered one of the largest Celtic gold finds of the 20th century, have an estimated commercial value of €1.6 million. Part of the gold treasure has been recovered, and more details are expected to be revealed soon.
