Simu Liu withdraws from Disney World event due to health concerns
Simu Liu, Marvel star and one of the Kens in the upcoming "Barbie" movie, announced on Instagram that he had to drop out of Disney World's 2023 Candlelight Processional due to unspecified "health scares." The event, which retells the Christmas story, was scheduled to be narrated by Liu but will now be narrated by singer Bart Millard. Other celebrities set to narrate the event include Brendan Fraser, Neil Patrick Harris, Sterling K. Brown, John Stamos, and Eva Longoria. Liu did not disclose the nature of his health concerns but previously mentioned tearing his Achilles tendon and was seen wearing a leg brace at a recent event. He expressed optimism for a future appearance at the Candlelight Processional in 2024.
