Brooks and Pullman to Reveal Oscars 2026 Nominations; Casting Directors Eligible for Trophy
Danielle Brooks and Lewis Pullman will unveil the 98th Academy Awards nominations from the Academy’s Beverly Hills headquarters at 8:30 a.m. ET, with the ceremony on March 15 airing on ABC and Hulu; for the first time, casting directors (up to two per film) will be eligible for a trophy. The nominations will stream on ABC, Disney+, TikTok and YouTube, Conan O’Brien will host, and the telecast is expected to run longer as the academy fights to keep the Oscars relevant amid declining viewership, with a move to YouTube planned for 2029.
