Coogler Makes SAG History Again With Sinners' Ensemble Victory
Director Ryan Coogler became the first to direct two SAG cast-ensemble winners as Sinners won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the SAG-AFTRA Actor Awards; the ensemble included Michael B. Jordan, Lola Kirke, Delroy Lindo, Wunmi Mosaku, Jack O’Connell, Jayme Lawson, Miles Caton, Li Jun Li and Omar Benson Miller, with Hailee Steinfeld absent on stage. Sinners is a vampiric period drama currently up for a record 16 Oscars.
