Bruce Cassidy's Impact: From Stanley Cup Triumph to Honoring Local Teen's Legacy
Bruce Cassidy, former head coach of the Boston Bruins and current head coach of the Vegas Golden Knights, brought the Stanley Cup to Milton, Massachusetts to raise awareness for the Cassidy Murray Foundation. The foundation was created in honor of Cassidy Murray, a 13-year-old who tragically died in a tubing accident in Aruba. The event at Glover Elementary School helped launch the foundation, which is dedicated to expanding educational opportunities and supporting mental health needs for individuals and families facing unthinkable tragedy. Cassidy, who won the Stanley Cup with the Golden Knights, expressed his desire to have won it with the Bruins, his childhood team.
