Some case manufacturers misdesigned iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max cases by making a cutout instead of a button for the new Action button introduced by Apple. Lack of exact information from Apple led to reliance on rumors, resulting in subpar design choices. Peak Design, one of the companies, manufactured and shipped 30,000 cases with cutouts before realizing the mistake. They will create updated designs and offer store credit to affected customers. Other brands like Nomad correctly included a physical button, while Bellroy made the same mistake as Peak Design. Customers are advised to carefully review case images before purchasing.
