Teenager Vanishes on Way to Party, Police Release New Details
A 17-year-old girl named Brissa Romero has been missing since Monday when she was on her way to a work party in Vernon Hills. The Carpentersville Police Department, along with Homeland Security, is actively searching for her. Romero was last seen on surveillance video visiting a family member in Des Plaines. Her vehicle, a gray 2008 Nissan Rogue with a distinct sticker of a black coyote on the rear, is also missing. The family has announced a $1,000 reward for any information leading to her safe return.
