Best-selling author and made-for-TV movie star Carol Higgins Clark, known for her 18-book series focused on Private Investigator Regan Reilly, has died at the age of 66 due to appendix cancer. She also co-wrote four Christmas-themed novels with her mother, suspense writer Mary Higgins Clark, who died in 2020. Clark was inducted into the New Jersey Hall of Fame in 2016 and is survived by her siblings, Marilyn, Warren and David Clark, and by her nieces and nephews.
