Tim Tszyu knocked out Carlos Ocampo in just 77 seconds to defend his WBO interim super-welterweight title and set up a potential fight against Jermell Charlo for the undisputed light middleweight championship. Tszyu landed 10 of 20 power punches and knocked Ocampo down twice before the referee ended the fight. Tszyu's promoter revealed discussions for the upcoming fight with Charlo's camp are already underway, and the fight is expected to take place in Las Vegas by no later than Sep. 30 this year.

A 17-year-old girl was shot in the lower back while riding in a car on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Carlos Ocampo, 21, has been charged with one count of reckless discharge of a firearm. The girl was transported to a hospital in good condition.
