"Cold Case Breakthrough: Car Linked to Missing Men Found in Creek After 42 Years"
Human remains and a car found in a North Carolina creek have been linked to a 1982 cold case involving three missing men. The car, a 1975 Chevrolet Camaro, was discovered submerged in Jack's Creek, and the remains found inside have not yet been identified. DNA testing will be used to compare the remains to known family members of the missing men, but officials are confident that the remains belong to William Clifton, David McMicken, and Michael Norman. The discovery was made after a man from Myrtle Beach began privately searching the area and used a remote-controlled solar boat to locate the submerged vehicle.
