BMW is introducing a six-speed manual option for the 2024 Z4 M40i, aiming to boost sales and compete with the Toyota Supra. The manual transmission will be part of an option package that includes a stiffer suspension, retuned power steering, and wider wheels and tires. The Z4 will use the same gearbox as the Supra but without Toyota's tweaks. The manual Z4 will be priced around $70,795, making it more expensive than the manual Supra but more affordable than the base Porsche 718 Boxster. This is the only non-M model BMW will offer with a manual transmission in the U.S.
Ernest Ellis spent years building a custom 1975 Ford Dually truck with a semi-truck face, inspired by the Louisville-built semis and the center section of the grille on the 1978 Ford pickup. The truck features a custom bed, subtle handmade details, and a hood made from steel and aluminum. Ellis designed and built the truck himself, using no sheet metal from other vehicles. Despite receiving criticism online, the unique build has won trophies at shows and reflects Ellis' passion for Mustangs and big trucks.
