Samuel L. Jackson wishes his character Nick Fury had appeared in Black Panther and Captain America: Civil War, as it didn't make sense for him to be absent from such important events. Fury has appeared in an almost obscene number of MCU movies, including the upcoming The Marvels, but Jackson's reasoning for his absence in these two films is sound.
