Former saxophonist for the experimental rock band Mr. Bungle, Theo Lengyel, has been arrested and charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Alice Kamakaokalani Herrmann, after her remains were found in a park in California. Herrmann had been missing since early December, and evidence led authorities to suspect foul play and identify Lengyel as the suspect. Lengyel, a founding member of Mr. Bungle, has not cooperated with the investigation.

Theobald "Theo" Lengyel, former member of the band MR. BUNGLE, has been arrested for the homicide of his girlfriend, Alice "Alyx" Kamakaokalani, after an extensive investigation by the Capitola Police Department and other agencies. Kamakaokalani had been missing since December 3, 2023, and her remains were later found in Tilden Regional Park. Lengyel, who played with MR. BUNGLE until the mid-90s, is currently in custody, with the case remaining under active investigation.
