2023 State Track Meet: Results and Highlights.
Canton-area athletes dominated the Ohio High School Athletic Association track and field state championships, with multiple state championship medals won. Ahsha DiPietro of Perry became a two-time OHSAA track state champion, while Brody Pumneo won the 800 for Fairless. The meet was delayed twice due to lightning, but athletes like Xavier Williams of Canton South and Brylan Holland of East Canton still managed to win state titles. Marlington's Colin Cernansky defended his title in the 1,600 meters, and Dalton's Brianna Chenevey anchored her team to a Division III state championship in the 400-meter relay.
