"2024 Cannondale Scalpel: Redesigned for Gnarly XC Racing"

Cannondale has released the 2024 version of its Scalpel XC bike with 120mm of travel, slacker head angle, longer reach, and shorter seat tube lengths to accommodate longer travel dropper posts. The range includes models priced from $4,000 to $14,000 USD, featuring a carbon frame, 29" wheels, and size-specific chainstays. The updated geometry and ride impressions indicate a more well-rounded XC experience, with improved handling on descents. However, a frame breakage during a ride serves as a reminder of the limits of modern XC bikes, despite their evolving capabilities.

"Anticipating the Arrival of the Upgraded Cannondale SuperSix Evo CX"

Cannondale appears to be releasing an update to their SuperSix Evo CX cyclocross and gravel bike, with the notable change being fully hidden cables routed through the headset. The update includes an updated carbon fork with a Delta Steerer tube design to accommodate brake hoses, allowing for fully hidden hoses and wires from the handlebar to the brake calipers. Other potential changes include the use of Cannondale One stem for internal cable routing, in-house Hollowgram cranks, and the same Ai asymmetrical rear end and Mavic SpeedRelease front thru axle. The head tube design of the current bike suggests it may have been designed for internal cable routing all along. Cannondale has hinted at changes to come in 2024.
