Lost Teen Emerges Unharmed from Canadian Wilderness After 2-Day Search
A 16-year-old girl who went missing in the Canadian wilderness was found unharmed after a 54-hour search and rescue effort. Esther Wang had become separated from her hiking group in Golden Ears Park, British Columbia. She managed to find her way back to the same trail she entered on and was reunited with her family. Wang was tired but had taken precautions and had food and water with her. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police reminded hikers to be prepared with essentials for their trips.
