April Wine Frontman Myles Goodwyn Passes Away at 75

Myles Goodwyn, the singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter for Canadian rock band April Wine, has passed away at the age of 75. Goodwyn formed the band in 1969 and remained the only constant member throughout their career. April Wine achieved success in Canada and the US, with their biggest hit being "Just Between You and Me." Goodwyn retired from touring in 2023 due to health issues but continued to write, record, and produce for the band. April Wine sold over 10 million albums worldwide and was inducted into the Canadian Music Industry Hall of Fame.

Bachman-Turner Overdrive Co-Founder Tim Bachman Passes Away at 71.

Tim Bachman, co-founding guitarist and vocalist for Bachman-Turner Overdrive, has died at the age of 71 following complications from cancer. He formed the Canadian rock band with his brothers Randy and Robbie along with Fred Turner in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in 1973. Some of their hit songs include “Takin’ Care of Business,” “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” and “Roll On Down the Highway.” Bachman-Turner Overdrive was inducted into the Canadian Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. Tim Bachman is survived by his son.
