Scalpers are hoarding Xiaomi 13 Ultra camera accessories kits and re-selling them at a 50% markup due to the kit being unavailable through unofficial channels. The kit was initially priced at 999 yuan ($144 USD) during the launch, but now costs 1,499 yuan ($216 USD). Xiaomi has not provided a statement on how it intends to combat these scalpers, but one obvious route would be to replenish the camera accessories kit through official channels and at the same 999 yuan asking price.
