AirAsia emergency descent ends in Brisbane after pressure alert
An AirAsia flight from Sydney to Kuala Lumpur diverted to Brisbane after a cabin-pressure alert. The aircraft dropped from about 34,000 ft to roughly 10,000 ft, and all 142 passengers and 11 crew evacuated without incident. Passengers were provided accommodation and assistance while the aircraft was assessed, with a plan to resume the journey later.
