Sonic Team Boss Hints at Revival of Classic Franchises.
The head of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, Takashi Iizuka, has hinted that Sega may bring back dormant series like Nights Into Dreams and Burning Rangers in the future. While he couldn't confirm anything, Iizuka noted that Sonic Team in Japan has been hiring more people than ever, suggesting that there may be a chance for these classic franchises to return. Sega has already announced the revival of Samba de Amigo, which will be released on August 29 for the Nintendo Switch.
