Bandai Namco announced CODE VEIN II, a sequel that introduces a new story set in a destroyed world with time-travel mechanics, enhanced combat, and improved character customization, aiming to offer a darker, more complex experience while maintaining the core gameplay of the original.
Hideo Kojima, the creator of the Metal Gear Solid series, has praised the game's radio communication system as one of his "greatest inventions." The system allows players to communicate with NPCs, providing support and developing the storyline from afar. Kojima also highlighted the importance of four-legged friends in the series, as they are easier to control than human NPCs. Despite leaving Konami, Kojima still holds the series in high regard and there may be a chance for a Metal Gear Solid 6 in the future.
