Former Syracuse University basketball players Cole Swider, Buddy Boeheim, and Elijah Hughes participated in NBA Summer League games. Swider, playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, scored 19 points, shooting 7-of-14 overall and 5-of-8 from the 3-point line. Boeheim, playing for the Detroit Pistons, made all three of his 3-point attempts in five minutes of play. Hughes, playing for the Orlando Magic, did not score but played 13 minutes. Alan Griffin and Matt Morgan, also former Syracuse players, are on Summer League rosters but did not play in their respective games.
