Vienna Beef Revives Former Bucktown Location with New HQ and Restaurant
Vienna Beef plans to invest $20 million to rehab its former factory site in Bucktown, Chicago, adding second-floor office space, first-floor retail space, and an outdoor plaza for events. The site will host other retailers, including a big-box store, and over 200 parking spaces. Vienna Beef is bringing back its factory store and cafe, which will open in spring 2024, and will be outfitted with memorabilia spanning the company’s 130-year history. The Bucktown location had housed Vienna Beef’s factory since the early 1970s, and the company plans to move its employees from other offices to the new location at the end of this year.
