Bubble House Hits the Market After 50 Years
The iconic bubble house in Lenox Hill, known for its space-age exterior and swivel oval windows, is for sale for the first time in 50 years at $5.75 million. Originally built in 1969 by architect Maurice Medcalfe, it has been owned by Rabbi Arthur Schneier since 1974 and features a traditional interior layout that requires renovation, with its distinctive exterior largely preserved.
