Bryan West, a veteran journalist and two-time Emmy winning TV producer, has been hired as the Taylor Swift reporter for The Tennessean and USA Today network. West, a self-proclaimed Swiftie, stood out among hundreds of applicants and highlighted his technical skills and track record for predicting Swift's album announcements. His duties will include exploring Swift's influence on music, business, and social issues, as well as reporting on her tour stops and album releases. The job listing went viral when it was posted in September by Gannett, the parent company of USA Today and The Tennessean.
