The upcoming animated series "Batman: Caped Crusader" is said to be everything that creator Bruce Timm "wasn't able to do" in the original animated series. The show will feature a new take on the Dark Knight and his rogues gallery, with a more mature and sophisticated tone. The series is set to premiere on HBO Max.
