Broward County Mourns Loss of Fire Rescue Battalion Chief in Helicopter Crash
The funeral for Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Terryson Jackson, who died in a helicopter crash while responding to a call, is being held in Sunrise, Florida. Jackson, described as a dedicated and respected member of the agency, had been with the Broward Sheriff's Office for 19 years. Pilot Daron Roche and firefighter/paramedic Mikael Chaguaceda survived the crash. A procession and rifle volley will precede and follow the memorial service, respectively.
