Brandon Moreno's Courageous Fight with a Broken Hand at UFC 290
Brandon Moreno fought for over 20 minutes with a broken hand during his razor-close split decision loss to Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 290. Despite the injury, Moreno displayed incredible heart, skill, and courage, outstriking Pantoja over five rounds. He was taken to the hospital for treatment immediately after the fight, and his head coach, Sayif Saud, praised his fighter's character and determination. Moreno and Pantoja earned Fight of the Night honors, but Moreno has now suffered three losses to Pantoja in total.
