Rafael Nadal's Injury-Halted Comeback at the Australian Open
Rafael Nadal has withdrawn from the Australian Open due to a muscle tear, after playing in the Brisbane International where he lost in the quarterfinals to Jordan Thompson. This comes after a year-long hiatus from tennis and a hip surgery in June. Despite his injury, Nadal remains optimistic about his recovery and aims to be at his best for the clay court season, particularly the French Open. Nadal had won his first two matches in Brisbane before the injury occurred.
