Birmingham Bridal Shop Owner Faces Additional Fraud Charges
Nadica Ristivojevic, the former owner of a bridal shop in Birmingham, Michigan, is facing additional fraud charges after being accused of cheating customers out of at least $40,000. She has been charged with four counts of larceny by conversion and faces up to five years in prison for each count. Customers reported paying for wedding dresses that were never received, and it was discovered that Ristivojevic used money from new orders to pay for previous ones. The store abruptly closed in June, and victims are encouraged to contact the police if they believe they were affected.
