Jackson "Boom" Swallen, the 15-year-old grandson of late wrestler Brian Pillman and nephew of WWE NXT's Lexis King, prevented a potential school shooting by reporting a classmate's written plan to his father, who then alerted authorities. The 14-year-old suspect was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated murder. Swallen is set to receive the National Student Hero Award from the Uvalde Foundation for Kids for his courageous actions.
