COVID-19 Outbreak Hits Reds' Brandon Williamson, Forcing Him to Miss Start
Cincinnati Reds left-hander Brandon Williamson has tested positive for COVID-19, becoming the fourth Reds pitcher to do so this week. As a result, he will miss his scheduled start on Sunday, further jeopardizing the team's chances of making it to the postseason. Manager David Bell confirmed that a couple of support staff members have also tested positive, and the team has reinstated some COVID-19 protocols. The Reds are currently just one game back from a National League wild-card spot and are taking precautions to prevent further spread within the team.
