Neopets TTRPG Playtest Material Pulled Over Controversial Content, Brand Standards Cited
A beta Neopets TTRPG playtest released by Geekify was pulled after backlash over inappropriate themes (drunk bandits, torture options, misogynistic and homophobic lines) and content not aligned with Neopets’ brand. Neopets said the document wasn’t approved or reviewed by their team and has been removed; the company will work with Geekify to address concerns while continuing development with stricter adherence to brand standards.
