Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Movie Dominates Box Office, Delaying Other Films
Several movies have delayed or expedited their theatrical debuts in order to avoid competing with "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" movie, which is expected to earn over $100 million in its first weekend. Swift released the movie a day early to accommodate the high demand, and theaters will be encouraging fans to sing and dance during the screenings. "The Exorcist: Believer" moved its debut to Oct. 6, while "What Happens Later" delayed its release from Oct. 13 to Nov. 3. Other films, such as "The Marsh King's Daughter" and "Dumb Money," also adjusted their release dates to maximize box office success before or after Swift's movie.
