"Star Trek Online" launches its 32nd season, "Unparalleled," featuring Denise Crosby reprising her role as Captain Sela from an alternate universe. The final season of "Star Trek: Picard" was a fitting farewell to the "Next Generation" crew, recapturing the essence of the original show. The characters worked together to save humankind, with classic "Star Trek" tropes and some plot holes. The story advanced each of the main characters and filled in some gaps, confirming that "The Next Generation" was greater than the sum of its parts. The finale saw Jean-Luc assimilate himself to contact Jack in the Borg collective, admitting his loneliness and offering his son approval and unconditional love.
