FBI Expands Cross-Border Efforts in Nancy Guthrie Disappearance
The FBI has been in contact with Mexican authorities as part of the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, after she was reportedly abducted from her Tucson home on Feb. 1. Officials say there’s no current evidence she crossed into Mexico, but border liaison teams and the FBI’s Mexico City attaché are coordinating with Sonora authorities. Investigators are reviewing doorbell footage and other video, the Guthrie family is cooperating, rewards totaling $202,500 are offered for information, and the case remains active in its third week with no confirmed leads.
