
Duke closes regular season with 76-61 win over UNC
No. 1 Duke capped the regular season with a 76-61 victory over No. 17 North Carolina at Cameron Indoor, led by Cameron Boozer’s 26 points and 15 rebounds and Maliq Brown’s 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 steals. The Blue Devils pulled away with a 20-2 run in the second half, stifling UNC to 27 points after halftime while celebrating Senior Night. Duke finishes 29-2 overall and 17-1 in the ACC, atop the conference and heading toward the ACC tournament and NCAA March Madness. Caleb Foster exited late in the first half with a foot injury and did not return, and Patrick Ngongba II was sidelined, leaving Duke short-handed for the finale.
