Tech Titans Face Resistance from Laid-Off Workers: No Return in Sight

Boomeranging, or returning to a previous employer, is on the rise but is a rocky decision for workers who had no say in the layoff. Rehiring employees can save on recruitment costs, but after a year, workers are less likely to consider boomeranging and may expect a pay bump.
