Ford's Michigan Central hub unveils restored Book Depository building.
Ford Motor Co.'s Executive Chair Bill Ford unveiled the newly renovated Book Depository in Detroit, which is now home to Newlab, a center for startups, entrepreneurs, engineers, and scientists to build breakthrough companies in Detroit. Ford recalled how the Book Depository was an afterthought compared to its larger neighbor, Michigan Central Station, which is still being redeveloped. Ford also discussed the possibility of a hotel or condos in Michigan Central Station, but said they are still having discussions and curating the right experience for workers and visitors.
