"Reflecting on 'Nipplegate': 20 Years Later"
Twenty years after the infamous "Nipplegate" incident at the Super Bowl, a body piercer from Houston has rediscovered the coordinating nipple shield worn by Janet Jackson during the halftime show. The piece of jewelry, originally designed by Jim Ward of Gauntlet, was sold to Jackson's former fashion stylist days before the game. The stylist, Wayne Scot Lukas, revealed that the wardrobe malfunction was planned by Jackson and her choreographer. Despite receiving offers for the artifact, the body piercer has chosen to hold onto it, while the whereabouts of the matching shield worn by Jackson remain unknown.
