Multiple Arrests Made in Connection with Body Found in Car Trunk in Gwinnett County
Five adults and one teenager have been arrested after the body of a malnourished female from South Korea was found in the trunk of a car outside a Korean spa in Gwinnett County. The suspects are facing charges for felony murder, imprisonment, tampering with evidence, and concealing a death. The victim, who came to the Atlanta area to join a religious organization, was believed to have been held captive, repeatedly beaten, and starved. The investigation is ongoing, and there appears to be no connection between the spa and the homicide.
